A 12% service fee and security deposit also apply.
The security deposit protects owners against damage or loss. It's held (but not charged) when you book and automatically refunded within 24 hours after you return the equipment in good condition. The amount varies by equipment value, typically ranging from ₦10,000 to ₦100,000.
Yes. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your rental start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% charge. If the owner cancels, you receive a full refund immediately.
Click "Become a Vendor" in the menu, complete the registration form with your details and equipment information, verify your identity, and start listing your gear. It takes about 10 minutes to set up your account. Once approved, you can immediately start earning from your idle equipment.
Earnings vary by equipment type, condition, and location. Popular items like professional speakers can earn ₦50,000-150,000/month, while camera kits can generate ₦100,000-500,000/month. Set competitive prices, maintain good equipment, and earn positive reviews to maximize your income.
We charge a 12% service fee on all transactions. For renters, this is added to the rental price. For vendors, it's deducted from earnings before payout. This fee covers payment processing, insurance, platform maintenance, and customer support.
Vendors receive payment within 48 hours after the renter returns the equipment and the owner confirms its condition. Funds are transferred directly to your registered bank account. You can track all earnings and payouts in your vendor dashboard.
All rentals are covered by insurance. If equipment is damaged, the owner documents the damage, submits photos, and files a claim. The security deposit covers repair costs up to its amount. For damage exceeding the deposit, our insurance policy covers up to ₦5 million per incident.
Yes, if the equipment is available. Contact the owner through the app to request an extension. If approved, you'll receive a new booking confirmation with updated pricing and dates. Additional charges will be processed automatically.
Many owners offer delivery for an additional fee, typically ₦2,000-10,000 depending on distance. Delivery availability and costs are shown on each listing. You can also arrange pickup directly from the owner's location.
We accept all major payment methods through Paystack: debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfers, and mobile money. All payments are secure and encrypted. Payment is held by the platform and only released to vendors after successful equipment pickup.
